Monday Update
I put a pound of those white dried beans (are those called navy beans?) in with a little pork and mushroom in the crockpot. After they cooked overnight I added a stew seasoning packet.
I liked them pretty well, but not as well as Natalie!

The beans sound delicious. My children love beans as well.
How sweet. I love to see successful Chineese adoption stories. We had started the process ourselves and my husband suffered a horrible attack with his MS and that stopped our endeavors. My daughters tell me I'm going to have a houseful of Chineese grandchildren someday :) Your site is very nice.
