Natalie came home tonight with a bite on her hand. I didn't see it until we were home. On her daily summary page, there was no mention of the bite.
So I wonder, did they see it? Who did it? It had to be one of the bigger kids, there are a lot of teeth marks.
What would you all do about it? I do plan on printing this picture and asking why they didn't tell me about it.
I am also going to make full shirt bibs for her for meals there. I don't think they are using a bib on her, she comes home filthy on places that a bib covers.
I don't mean to sound down on them, but sometimes I feel like it isn't the best match. I guess I'll see what they say on Monday!
Here are some cute pictures after we did a clothing change and came back from a rummage sale...
Look how long her hair is getting. And the bridge of her nose is growing out a little, she is losing that little baby button nose....sniff sniff - lol
Disney has their free dining promo going on now!
OOHH I so wish we could go this year! I can find the money but vacation time is limited. Waaahhhh! lol (I put the link on the image if you want to see the details...if I can't go maybe someone I know in bloggy land can go!).

Poor Natalie -- it looks like someone really dug into her. It stinks that it's Friday because I'm sure you'd like to get some kind of an explanation. I can't imagine that she didn't cry - I'm surprised no one saw it.
She's such a cutie!
I remember when my middle dd used to bit the other kids at daycare. BUT, she had to learn it somewhere and I knew it wasn't her older sister.
I took her out the next week, but we were planning on me quitting work anyways. Too bad PPP isn't a full time job! :o)
I can't believe they didn't notice that - surely she cried! I know kids will bite, but I would think they should have seen that and told you about it! I am so sorry! UGH! I dread that part about being a single Momma!
wow, that's quite a bite! my co-worker's daycare will call her at work if her son gets bit. i hope you get some sort of satisfactory answer come monday.
ah, to go to disney. it's not in the cards for us this year either(we got braces instead, but hey they gave us some nice points on our disney visa) but we are definitely taking a nephew and neice next december. i think i'll start counting down now, lol. until then we've both got MB to look forward to, right?
That is very interesting that they didn't notice the bite...or didn't tell you if they did. The full-shirt bib isn't a bad idea. You should definitely approach them about both issues before you consider switching her. Eliza's daycare recently hired a teacher I'm not crazy about. I e-mailed the director a detailed letter about my concerns. She e-mailed me back and told me she would take care of things. Needless to say, this teacher will be supervised for the remainder of the school year (7 weeks) and won't be hired on for next year. There were times in the beginning daycare days that I was sure I would need to sell my house, quit my job, stay at home with Eliza and live off the equity until she was in Kindergarten. We both adjusted. There will always be little issues that come up for me (because no one can take care of my baby like I do). I don't feel shy about talking to daycare about my issues. I'm high maintenance, but I'm also the only one that Eliza has to advocate for her. The moral of my long-winded story is to talk to them and see how willing they are to work with you.
Natalie is cute, as always! You are doing a great job with her!
