Crocs Outlet

Natalie loves her crocs :) If you log on to www.crocs.com and click on girls, on the left there will be a small outlet word.

AHA OUTLET!

If you use vipoct8 lower case, you get free shipping.

Since the boots didn't fit unless her feet were bare (sniff :( ) I got her some more crocs instead.

Are they trying to kill me?

Dear Kim,

Today's the day! The 2010 Camaro is now available to order (production starts early 2009). Starting at $22,995, the Camaro isn't just a sports car, but a bold emotion sculpted in sheet metal that drops jaws and inspires envy in those not behind the wheel. Simply put, with its creased, taut lines and unexpected array of standard features, this cutting-edge performance machine is passion — perfected.

Vera Bradley bags are on clearance :)

If you haven't bought one because they are just too expensive now is a great time to wander over to http://www.verabradley.com/Site/Store/Colors.aspx?dept=36 and check out their clearance section. I got $398 worth of bags for $125 (5 of them, two of the blue/brown and the red). Some will be Christmas, some will be for ME! :) I thought $25 was a good price. If you find a style you like, be sure to click on all the fabrics, the brown and blue is not retiring and was the only bag I found on clearance in that fabric :)

Let's see, we have colds. I didn't leave the condo all weekend long. Scooter went on two excursions with grandpa. On Saturday he took her out to run errands while I slept (mine is 10 times worse than hers). I didn't realize until he came home that he took her in her pjs with breakfast still on her face and her hair all knotted up. Of course she loved it because she loves to be dirty but I was a little embarrassed :)

Turkey was 59 cents a pound this week and I cooked a 21 pounder today. I am making stock now!

hmmm hmm good!

Ok that is it for now bye!

Math is hard....

If 25 days prior to 5 days before your sail date. crude oil is below $70 each day, Carnival will refund fuel surcharges in the form of OBC.

Wowsa, that made my head hurt! Natalie and I do not have fuel surcharges on this trip because I booked so long ago. Dad does though, I think it was $32 because he is the 3rd passenger in the cabin. $32 isn't a ton of money but it would be a nice little bonus :)

This morning on the way to school :)

Yesterday driving home while at a red light I caught her talking to her sock phone again hehe
She loves socks anywhere but her feet!

Bye for now!

Happy Early Birthday to me :)

Just wanted new clothes for scooter (the clothes I bought last year are still too big) so Nana bought this purple velour outfit, another one just like in a dark pink color, an Elmo outfit that I'll have real pictures made in, a pair of Osh Kosh jeans and a pack of socks. All bargains from Ross and she got an extra 10% for being old (ha ha).

I will be 34 in 20 days...how weird is that?

Whew!

The yard sale was a success I think! We sold about half of the stuff based on volume (I love seeing empty containers!) and made $261.50. I just got to the point where I couldn't price or sort anything else. I also sent a few bags off to Salvation Army and took a rocking chair to the foodbank at church that also helps with furniture.

Soooo that pushes our great de-looting total to $430.50. Break down by the hour I am paying myself like 17 cents. lol But I am going to keep trucking along until the house is sold and I lose my storage space (oooo and the city delivered the pipes for the sewer connection sometime yesterday. The back hoe guy is coming next week to dig the trench then the fun begins.)

Now I have to clean up the great mess left by sorting. I knew it was messy but I blamed it on the sale, I mean you can't work really hard without making a mess right? But now that it's all repacked and contained, nope, the place is a wreak and it has nothing to do with the sale!

Bye for now!

Ahhh a little peace...

From my phone - Go Vols!

From my phone last week - I was like wooohoooo!

From my phone, Burger King last week

Gas at 4.99 (d0n't you love camera phones?)

The new schedule....

First day, she got a time out in the morning after I wouldn't let her wear something from the dirty clothes hamper. She threw herself to the ground a pitched a good fit. Dropped her off at school where she threw crayons across the room. Nice. Our evening went better and I only had 15 minutes of whining/crying/complaining at bedtime (I go in every 3 minutes or so...if she were upset I wouldn't leave, but she is mad!).

And today you ask? Well so far, so good! The morning went really well. We are about 15 minutes off the schedule but it is working well. Our real test will be this weekend when she has lunch at 11:30 and a nap at 12:30 for 2 hours.

Tomorrow is our yard sale! I have 20 or so big containers priced, it is a combo of my stuff and Dad's stuff. I'd love love love to sell half of it! I am giving myself until next spring to de-loot both the house and the condo, but this saletime was unexpected so it's like I get a bonus round of "Sell Your Crap"!

Today was Michelle's 10 year anny at work (not Chelle but a different person) . We had lunch and went to the Fossil Site. Now ok, I know that in 2001, I had just moved back to town and I was busy going to school, working and being broke. I did not know that a bulldozer took the top off a hill for a road and dug up an elephant pelvis bone.

How weird is that? In the mountains of TN, we had elephants, camels, red pandas and rhinos. This site is a 5 acre plot and they need to dig about 100 feet to reach the bottom of the sticky dark layer (can't think of the name) to reach the good bones. They are 6 feet into it, in a very small area, about the size of a two car garage.

I think this was a Rhino
This was a new species of Red Panda...people from China came over to check it out. It is suppose to be the most complete skeleton of one.

the big rhino head

Alligator

hhmmm don't remember
big alligator
main exhibit
a cat like critter, closer to a cheeta than a sabertooth
On black friday I am going to buy a little camera to slip into my purse. The phone just doesn't cut it!

Pictures from this morning....

see? happy!

I added up my Sept totals for my stocks...drum roll please... 39.14% gain on the account. I have a hard time trying to figure out how to work in the stock that tanked and is just sitting there. I think I am going with the accounting method of, if I haven't sold it, I haven't lost it so it doesn't count quite yet! Next year I think I'll start selling off chunks of it during months that I do really well so I won't get bumped into the 28% tax bracket.

My goal for October is 6%, just like all the other months. But with things how they are and with Carnival stock in the toilet (and I'm all out of cash to buy more - darn it!) I have to wait for it to perk back up before I do anything. But really with last month's great Citi deal I can go a month without trading. It won't kill me....twitch twitch.

Pictures!

Ok first things first. My sweet baby? She has left the building. In her place, I have a whining mean little thing who throws, hits, bites and screams!

Soooo instead of being easy going mommy, we are going on a schedule. Zero flexibility in it too. She'll eat everyday exactly at the same time. I'll rearrange all outside activities around the schedule. We'll wake up on the weekends the same time as the weekdays instead of snoozing a little extra. Dinner will be eaten in a high chair or it won't be eaten at all. Coloring and crafts will be done at the same time everyday. Elmo time will be the same time everyday (and she won't weasel more than one segment out of me a day). The playpen is back in operation and will be her time out cubby. I expect to get a lot of use out of it.

I guess what I am afraid of, is this little powerhouse ruling the roost. She can't do that, it's my job. She is so opinionated at 20 months, I am afraid of how she'll be in just a few more months. So we are going into lockdown. Not to say we won't have fun, but I guess my gameplan of being flexible has really bit me in the ass (literally, like 2 days ago).

Ok so here are some pictures. Notice I don't take them when she is acting up haha Maybe I should? To save to show her prom date? hhmmm...

All ready for school, it's cool enough for jeans :)

Hello?
Sleeping..so sweet when she sleeps..in her crib..not in my bed...

In her daycare shirt, wasn't that a cute idea?

Ready for church, fit to follow (ok so maybe I do have some pictures but I won't post them for now lol)

Its not BoBo but he'll do while BoBo is in the wash.

Sleepy already
That is it for now, see ya!
